Are you aware of a mapping app written for balloonists by a balloonist?
In the UK this includes BBAC sensitive areas (password protected) and (glider sourced) airspace, also German and French airways.
* Waypoints
* User areas (for PZ, airpace or competition areas)
* Predicted track
* Wind stats
Tony Jay created JBalloonNav for his own use as he didn't want to pay for Memory Map, he says that Google stats show around 200 installations and has had good feedback. He only promotes this app in the UK however it is configured for use in France and Germany too so quite adaptable.
Tony says there are a few tweaks to be done as some newer devices do occasionally have problems.
SAs can be downloaded too which makes it balloontastic!
And the best thing about this is .......its free!
