Humber Bridge Meet - done & dusted
That's it for another year.....
After torrential rain earlier in the week, the ground just didn't recover in time and ensured lots of morning mist and gigantic puddles.

So sadly no flying of the balloon kind despite much umming and arring from Team Read, but there was uggings of flying at the Old School House Restaurant in Leven. We had a paper aeroplane competition after dinner - the different heat winners being Mary Bellamy, Ray Wright, Phil Wilkinson and Mike Bellamy. What a hoot!

We received another warm welcome from those lovely chaps at Linley Hill Aerodrome (Leven International Airport) and guess what? We're doing it all again next year ...and we've got the after dinner fun sorted out already!

Malcolm Skilbeck was The Humber Bridge challenge's defending champion but the shield was not awarded this year so will remain tucked up in storage for next years attempt at landing the closest to a bridge marked upon the OS maps.

Thank you, everyone, for coming along.
